The holiday villa is approx. 400 meters from the village center of Prines at the end of a cul-de-sac. Next to the property is a small oak forest.
There is a bus stop in approx. 250 meters distance from the house. Public bus service to Rethymnon city several times per day.
From there, hourly suburban busses connect on to Heraklion (88 kms) and Chania (61 kms).

Heraklion airport is 96 kms away, Chania airport 66 kms.
With respect to the National Road's winding character, transfer times from and to the airports must not be underestimated.

It is recommended to hire a car e.g. at Eurocars Rent-a-car as they are said to be most reliable.

Their rates seem to be higher than in some other places, but then you discover that "full insurance with zero risk" really means what it says.
